Application Inquiry [R0502]

 

Introduction

The Application Inquiry [R0502] provides a review of all information on file for a specific application, including asset information, status history for the application, notebook review, historical information for the lessee, and existing and closed leases for the lessee. It may be used for research, customer service, and review. The report can be accessed either through the LeasePak Reports menu, Application option or by entering R0502 into the Fast Menu <F2>.

This screen is used to select the application to report on, as well as which parts of the report to produce.

Field Descriptions

 

Administration Information



This section, which begins the report, displays accounting and client keys for the application.

Field Descriptions

 

Address Information

The Address section of the report displays fields for addresses associated with the application. Most of these address are optional and may or may not contain field values.

 

Address Information: Lessee

This is the main lessee address. The Field Descriptions below includes all fields displayed here.

Note: Subsequent Address Information Field Descriptions will only include fields that are unique to that particular address type.

Address Information: Co-Lessee

The co-lessee is entered as a separate lessee through the Lessee update [U0203] prior to being attached to the application.

Address Information: Guarantor

The guarantor information is entered using the Guarantor update [U0217] prior to the guarantor being attached to the application.

Address Information: Personal Reference

The personal reference information is entered as part of the main lessee.

The bank reference is entered as part of the main lessee.

The other/previous address is entered as part of the main lessee.

Address Information: Employment 1

The Employment 1 information is entered as part of the main lessee.

The previous employment information is entered as part of the main lessee.

 

Address Information: Lessee Billing

If filled in, this is the invoicing address. It is entered as part of the main lessee. If not filled in, invoicing defaults to the main lessee address.

 

Address Information: Individual Application (Lease) Address

This address can be different for each application attached to a lessee. It is entered as part of the application, not the lessee.

 

Address Information: Individual Application (Lease) Billing Address

The application can be set to use this address for invoicing in place of the lessee billing or main address. Refer to the application field Billing Level for more information.

 

Terms of Application

This section of the report contains information pertaining to the agreement terms of the application.

The first part of the section contains general terms information.

For precomputed and operating leases, the next part displays factor and yield information.

For simple interest leases and interest bearing loans, rate information will be displayed instead of factor and yield information.

Terms of Application: Recurring Charges

Click here to see the recurring charges section shown in the report if Extended Recurring Charges module is purchased in which case the recurring charges section will be different from that presented in the following.

The recurring charges section displays the repeating assessment and its payment schedule for the selected application.

Fields pertaining to Capital Cost Allowance (CCA) are legacy only, no longer in use.

 

Terms of Application: Insurance


At lease one set of insurance information fields will appear in the report, even if the insurance type is reported as "Not Required". For applications with more than one insurance listing, all listings will be displayed in the report.

If the application is an interest bearing loan (IBL), target principal information, if any, is displayed.

The first part of the section contains location, cost, depreciation, and other information for the asset.

N is displayed otherwise. Pending assets will not appear on tax reports, regardless of this setting.

 

Asset Detail: Capital Cost Allowance (legacy only, no longer in use)

Fields pertaining to Capital Cost Allowance are legacy only, no longer in use.

Use tax location and rate information is displayed.

Information on title filings (UCC, etc.), if any, is displayed.

The Lease History section of the report lists all leases for the application's lessee, both current and previous (paid off or terminated).

Note: The delinquency period is a customized value. In these examples they are 30, 60, 90 and 90+ days, but other periods may be set. There are a total of 6 delinquency categories that can be entered. Refer to the DELINQUENCY CATEGORY BOUNDARIES parameters on the third screen of the Miscellaneous Customizations option of the Portfolio update [U0212]

 

Document Tracking

The Document Tracking section of the report provides status and receipt information for documents associated with the application.

User Defined Fields/Table

If the User Defined Fields/Tables module is purchased, and user defined fields and/ or table columns for the application or lessee are defined through the Portfolio update [U0212], the report provides the following information at the application level.

Notebook Report

The Notebook Report section of the report lists all existing notes for an application. It may be used to review all comments, actions, problems, and concerns for an application. See Notebook Report [R0922] for more information.
