Additional Non-Vertex Rates

Corresponding End of Period process: None
Describes the process of using alternate, non-Vertex tax rates.
Also known as Vehicle Tax.
Turn on (check the box for) the switch
Vehicle use and sales tax rates access
to provide users with access to Additional Non-Vertex Rates (also known as Vehicle Tax)
where it occurs throughout the various updates and reports in LeasePak.
Use the Vehicle Tax Table tab in State [U0713]
to specify if the state requires special tax rates for vehicles.
Use the Location [U0701] update to enter Vehicle Tax rates as needed.
For assets set up through Application Tracking, use the switch
Use Vehicle Tax Table
in Application Tracking [U08]: Assets to have the asset use the Vehicle Tax rates.
For assets set up through New Lease, use the switch
Veh Tax Table
in New Lease [U0101]: Add Asset to have the asset use the Vehicle Tax rates.
For assets already booked, use the switch
Veh Tax Table
in Asset [U0210] to change the asset to use the Vehicle Tax rates.
Use the Location Listing [R0915] to report on Vehicle Tax rates.
