Application Setup: Rate Plan Group [U0817]

Describes the Application Tracking [U08] setup update for adding, changing, or deleting application rate plan groups.

This is part of the optional LeasePak module Application Tracking. For information on individual Application functions, refer to Application Tracking [U08].

Use Rate Plan Group to assign one or more related rate plans to a group. You can then assign a rate plan group to a Vendor using the Vendor [U0201] field Rate Plan Group, specifying the rate plan choices for applications associated with that Vendor.

Edit application rate plan groups when users are not in Application Tracking or other parts of Application Setup.

 

 

Adding an Application Rate Plan Group

From the main LeasePak menu select Updates, Tracking Setup, Application Setup [U08], Rate Plan Group [U0817].

LeasePak provides no predefined rate plan groups. To add a rate plan group, click Add. To instead exit the update, click Done.

Field Descriptions

Rate Plan Group Code

Type a 4-character code for the rate plan group.

Default Rate Plan Group

If you want to default from an existing rate plan group, click and select the rate plan group from the list. You can make changes to the defaulted information on the next screen.

Click OK to proceed or Cancel to return to the rate plan group list window without making any changes. Proceed to Application Rate Plan Group Fields below for descriptions of the setup fields.

 

 

Changing an Application Rate Plan Group

From the main LeasePak menu select Updates, Tracking Setup, Application Setup [U08], Rate Plan Group [U0817].

Click to highlight the rate plan group you wish to change, then click Change. To instead exit the update, click Done. Proceed to Application Rate Plan Group Fields below for descriptions of the setup fields.

 

 

Application Rate Plan Group Fields

Field Descriptions

Rate Plan Group Code

LeasePak displays the 4-character rate plan group code.

When using Change (after you have added a rate plan group), you can only change the description and rate plans associated with the code. To change the 4-character code, you must delete the rate plan group and add a new one with a new code.

Rate Plan Group Description

Add or change the description for the code. The description can be up to 20 characters long.

Rate Plans in Group

LeasePak displays the rate plans (if any) currently in the group. To move a rate plan out of the group, click on the rate plan to highlight it, then click . To move all the rate plans out of the group, click .

You can have up to 20 rate plans in a group.

Rate Plans

LeasePak displays all available rate plans (as defined through Rate Plan [U0816]) not currently in the group. To move a rate plan into the group, click on the rate plan to highlight it, then click . To move all the rate plans into the group, click .

Click Save to add or change the rate plan group or Cancel to return to the rate plan group list window without making any changes. Once you are finished editing rate plan groups, from the rate plan group list window click Done to exit the update. Any changes immediately become available for use with the Vendor [U0201] field Rate Plan Group (use Refresh Codes to update the LeasePak client code set).

 

 

Deleting an Application Rate Plan Group

From the main LeasePak menu select Updates, Tracking Setup, Application Setup [U08], Rate Plan Group [U0817].

Click to highlight the rate plan group you wish to delete, then click Delete. To instead exit the update, click Done.

You cannot delete a rate plan group assigned to a Vendor (through Vendor [U0201] field Rate Plan Group).

If LeasePak allows the deletion, it will prompt for confirmation.

Click Yes to delete the rate plan group or No to return to the rate plan group list window without making any changes.

Once you are finished editing rate plan groups, from the rate plan group list window click Done to exit the update.
