Automatic Lease Extension Listing [R0923]
The Automatic Lease Extension Listing [R0923] provides a review of the leases to be automatically extended upon maturity.
The report may be accessed through the Operational report menu [R09].
The report may be selected for:
- All portfolios
- A portfolio
- A company
- A region
- An office
- A lease
- All or a specific date ranges
Automatic Lease Extension Listing Selection
- ALL
- PORT, COMP, REGN, OFFCE, LEASE
Enter X to report on all assets by portfolio. Leave blank to report on a specific portfolio, company, region, office, or lease.
- ALL
- START DATE, END DATE
Enter X to report on all leases to be automatically extended upon maturity. Leave blank to report the leases which will be extended on a specific range of dates.
- START DATE
Enter the start date in MM/DD/YY or DD/MM/YY format, depending on the Date Format Preference field in Security [U0706]. All leases to be automatically extended on or after this date are selected. If both START DATE and END DATE are entered, all leases to be automatically extended on or between the dates are selected. Leave START DATE blank for all leases to be automatically extended on or before END DATE.

DATE
Enter the end date in MM/DD/YY or DD/MM/YY format, depending on the Date Format Preference field in Security [U0706]. All leases to be automatically extended on or before this date are selected. If both START DATE and END DATE are entered, all leases to be automatically extended on or between the dates are selected. Leave END DATE blank for all leases to be automatically extended on or after START DATE.
Automatic Lease Extension Transaction Listing
The Automatic Lease Extension Transaction
Listing [R0923] provides the following information for the lease:
- PORTFOLIO / COMPANY/ REGION
/ OFFICE
- LEASE
The lease number is displayed.
- LESSEE
SHORT NAME
- COMMENCEMENT
DATE
The commencement date of the automatic lease extension record is displayed. The COMMENCEMENT DATE to the MATURITY DATE is equal to the LEASE TERM. The lease extension must commence on the lease's payment due day.
- MATURITY
DATE
The date the lease extension is scheduled to mature is displayed. The MATURITY DATE is calculated using the COMMENCEMENT DATE and the LEASE TERM.
- EXTENSION
AMOUNT
The new starting cost, the net investment in the lease, is displayed. At lease maturity, the net investment is the residual.For operating leases, the new starting cost is the current book value.
- RESIDUAL
AMOUNT
The new residual (less than or equal to the original residual) is displayed.
- TERM
The extended term for the lease is displayed.
- LESSOR
ACCRUAL METHOD
The lessor accrual method for the lease extension is displayed.
- CASH
ACCRUAL BASIS
The CASH/ACCRUAL switch for the lease extension is displayed.
