Status Codes
LeasePak
uses short codes to indicate the current status of leases and assets. Some codes
initiate special actions by LeasePak, such as suspending the income earnings of
a lease. Other codes are informational and may be used to create a more accurate
picture of the status of the lease portfolio.
In
the following sections is a list of the status codes and explanations for:
Lease
The
following are lease status codes and accompanying explanations.
- AACQ
ACTIVE ACQUIRED
The lease was acquired from another source. This status is entered through the
Master Financial update [U0202].
- AA01
ACTIVE PRIOR CHARGE OFF A previously terminated lease that has
been reactivated. This status is entered through the Suspended Earnings update
[U0115].
- AA02
ACTIVE PRIOR SKIP The lessee had previously absconded and placed
in 'HSKP' or 'NSKP' status. The lease is active and will be tracked as a previous
skip. This status is entered through the Suspended Earning update [U0115].
- AASM
ACTIVE ASSUMED The lease was assumed by another lessee. LeasePak automatically
assigns this status to the lease when assumed.
- AEXM
ACTIVE EXTENDED MONTH-TO-MONTH The original lease matured and
was extended month-to-month through the Lease Extension update [U0108]. LeasePak
automatically assigns this status to the lease when extended.
- AEXT
ACTIVE EXTENDED LEASE The original lease matured and was extended
for a specified term through the Lease Extension update [U0108]. LeasePak automatically
assigns this status to the lease when extended.
- ANOR
ACTIVE NORMAL The lease is active under normal circumstances.
LeasePak automatically assigns this status to the lease when booked. This status
may also be entered through the Master Financial update [U0202].
- ABPT
ACTIVE BLOCK PAYMENTS The lease is active and will continue to
accrue to the general ledger accounts. Payments of any type may not be posted
including: Payments [U0102], Batch Payments [U0415], and Assumed Payments [U0414],
will not be allowed. In addition, Payoffs or Terminations [U0108], will not be
allowed. The lease will not mature to 'NMAT' status or allowed to be suspended.
This status is entered through the Master Financial update [U0202].
- ARBK
REBOOK The lease has been rebooked through the Rebook update [U0116].
The Rebook update [U0116] is used to change the initial booking information of
the lease, such as the assets tied to the lease, payment schedule, commencement
date, etc. LeasePak automatically assigns this status to the lease when rebooked.
- ARED
ACTIVE REDEMPTION The repossessed leased assets have been redeemed
by the lessee and the lease has been reinstated. This status is entered through
the Master Financial update [U0202].
- AREN
ACTIVE RENEGOTIATED The lease terms have been renegotiated. This
status is entered through the Master Financial update [U0202].
- AREP
ACTIVE ASSIGNED FOR REPOSSESSION The leased assets are assigned
for repossession, but have not yet been recovered. Lease payments may not be processed
for a lease with this status. This status is entered through the Master Financial
update [U0202].
- AXFR
ACTIVE TRANSFERRED The lease has been transferred from one accounting
unit (portfolio, company, region, and office) to another through the Change Lease
Key update [U0114]. LeasePak automatically assigns this status to the lease when
it is moved to another accounting unit.
- HHLD
NON-ACCRUAL HOLD The income earnings are not accrued for the lease
for a non-specific reason. This status is entered through the Suspended Earnings
update [U0115].
- HINS
NON-ACCRUAL NON-INSURANCE The income earnings are not accrued
for the lease due to lack of adequate and/or required insurance. This status is
entered through the Suspended earnings update [U0115].
- HREC
NON-ACCRUAL RESCISSION The income earnings are not accrued for
the lease because the lessee has rescinded on the lease contract. This status
is entered through the Suspended Earnings update [U0115].
- HREP
NON-ACCRUAL INVOLUNTARY REPOSSESSION The income earnings are not
accrued for the lease because the leased assets have been repossessed by the lessor.
This status is entered through the Suspended earnings update [U0115].
- HSET
NON-ACCRUAL
INSURANCE SETTLEMENT The income earnings are not accrued for the lease
because an insurance settlement is pending (i.e., the assets have been damaged
or destroyed). This status is entered through the Suspended earnings update [U0115].
- HSKP
NON-ACCRUAL SKIP The income earnings are not accrued for the lease
because the lessee absconded with the leased assets. This status is entered through
the Suspended earnings update [U0115].
- HVOL
NON-ACCRUAL VOLUNTARY REPOSSESSION The income earnings are not
accrued for the lease because the lessee desires to return the leased assets to
the lessor in order to terminate the lease contract. This status is entered through
the Suspended earnings update [U0115].
- NCRP
CHARGE OFF: INVOLUNTARY REPOSESSION) The lease has been charged
off due to involuntary repossession of the leased assets. The lease is no longer
active. LeasePak automatically assigns this status to the lease when the lease
is paid off (through the Payoff update [U0103]) with an activity status of 'NREP'
(suspended earnings-assigned for repossession). Note that this status is not assigned
if the activity status is 'AREP' (active assigned for repossession).
- NCSK
CHARGE
OFF: SKIP The lease has been charged off due to a lessee skip (i.e., the
lessee absconded with the leased assets). The lease is no longer active. LeasePak
automatically assigns this status to the lease when the lease is paid off (through
the Payoff update [U0103]) with an activity status of 'NSKP' (suspended earnings
skip).
- NP01
CHARGE OFF: FORECLOSURE The lease has been Charged off due
to foreclosure. The lease is no longer active. This status is entered through
the Suspended Earnings update [U0115]. Note that this status is assigned if the
activity status is NH01 (suspended earnings foreclosure).
- NP04
CHARGE OFF: WRITE OFF The lease has been charged off as a
write off. The lease is no longer active. This status is entered through the Suspended
Earnings update [U0115]. Note that this status is assigned if the activity status
is NH04 (suspended earnings write off).
- NCVL
CHARGE OFF: VOLUNTARY REPOSSESSION The lease has been charged
off due to voluntary repossession (i.e., the lessee voluntarily returns the leased
assets in order to terminate the lease). The lease is no longer active. LeasePak
automatically assigns this status to the lease when the lease is paid off (through
the Payoff update [U0103]) with an activity status of 'NVOL' (suspended earnings
repossession).
- NDSC
LEASE DISCOUNTING The lease has been discounted through the Lease
Discounting update [U0123]. The Lease Discounting update [U0123] is used to discount
lease payment streams which are then sold to investors. LeasePak automatically
assigns this status to the lease when discounted.
- NHLD
SUSPENDED EARNINGS HOLD The income earnings are suspended for
the lease for a non-specific reason. This status is entered through either the
Suspended earnings update [U0115].
- NINS
SUSPENDED EARNINGS NON-INSURANCE The income earnings are suspended
for the lease due to lack of adequate and/or required insurance. This status is
entered through the Suspended earnings update [U0115].
- NH01
SUSPENDED EARNINGS: FORECLOSURE The income earnings are suspended
for the lease due to foreclosure. The status is entered through the Suspended
Earnings update [U0115].
- NH02
SUSPENDED EARNINGS: INSURANCE CLAIM The income earnings are suspended
for the lease due to pending insurance claim reasons. This status is entered through
the Suspended Earnings update [U0115].
- NH03
SUSPENDED EARNINGS: SETTLEMENT The income earnings are suspended
for the lease due to pending settlement reasons. This status is entered through
the Suspended Earnings update [ U0115].
- NH04
SUSPENDED EARNINGS:WRITE OFF The income earnings are suspended
for the lease due to pending write off reasons. This status is entered through
the Suspended Earnings update [ U0115].
- NH07
SUSPENDED EARNINGS:BANKRUPTCY Suspended
Bankruptcy Document 7,11 or 12. This lease has been marked for Credit Bureau Reporting.
- NH13
SUSPENDED EARNINGS: BANKRUPTCY Suspended
Bankruptcy Document 13. This lease has been marked for Credit Bureau Reporting.
- NMAT
ACTIVE MATURED The lease has matured. LeasePak automatically assigns
this status to the lease when all the income for the lease has been earned.
- NPDS
PAID
OFF: DISCOUNTED The lease was paid off after discounted. The lease is
no longer active. LeasePak automatically assigns this status to the lease when
it is paid off through the Payoff update [U0103] with an activity status of 'NDSC'
(Lease Discounting).
- NPER
PAID OFF: EARLY The lease was paid off or terminated before maturity.
The lease is no longer active. LeasePak automatically assigns this status to the
lease when it is paid off or terminated through the Payoff update [U0103] with
an activity status beginning with an 'A' (e.g., 'ANOR').
- NPHL
PAID OFF: SUSPENDED This status is automatically assigned after
paying off or terminating the lease with an activity status 'NHLD' (suspended
earnings hold).
- NPMT
PAID OFF: MATURED The lease was paid off or terminated at maturity.
The lease is no longer active. LeasePak automatically assigns this status to the
lease when it is paid off or terminated through the Payoff update [U0103] with
an activity status of 'NMAT' (active matured).
- NPRC
PAID OFF: RESCISSION The lease was paid off or terminated because
the lessee rescinded on the lease contract. The lease is no longer active. LeasePak
automatically assigns this status
to the lease when it is paid off or terminated through the Payoff update [U0103]
with an activity status of 'NREC' (suspended earnings rescission).
- NPST
PAID OFF: INSURANCE SETTLEMENT The lease was paid off or terminated
by an insurance settlement. The lease is no longer active. LeasePak automatically
assigns this status to the lease when it is paid off or terminated through the
Payoff update [U0103] with an activity status of 'NINS' (suspended earnings non-insurance)
or 'NSET' (suspended earnings insurance settlement).
- NP02
PAID OFF: INSURANCE CLAIM The lease was paid off or terminated
by an insurance claim. The lease is no longer active. LeasePak automatically assigns
this status to the lease when it is paid off or terminated through the Payoff
update [U0103] with an activity status of 'NH02' (suspended earnings insurance
claim).
- NP03
PAID OFF: SETTLEMENT The lease was paid off or terminated by a
settlement. The lease is no longer active. LeasePak automatically assigns this
status to the lease when it is paid off or terminated through the Payoff update
[U0103] with an activity status of 'NH03' (suspended earnings settlement).
- NP07
PAID OFF: BANKRUPTCY Paid
Suspended Bankruptcy Document 7, 11, or 12. This lease has been marked for Credit
Bureau Reporting.
- NP13
PAID OFF: BANKRUPTCY Paid
Suspended Bankruptcy Document 13. This lease has been marked for Credit Bureau
Reporting.
- NREC
SUSPENDED EARNINGS RESCISSION The income earnings are suspended
for the lease because the lessee has rescinded on the lease contract. This status
is entered through the Suspended Earnings update [U0115].
- NREP
SUSPENDED EARNINGS INVOLUNTARY REPOSSESSION The income earnings
are suspended for the lease because the leased assets have been repossessed by
the lessor. This status is entered through the Suspended earnings update [U0115].
- NSET
SUSPENDED EARNINGS INSURANCE SETTLEMENT The income earnings are
suspended for the lease because an insurance settlement is pending (i.e., the
assets have been damaged or destroyed). This status is entered through the Suspended
earnings update [U0115].
- NSKP
SUSPENDED EARNINGS SKIP The income earnings are suspended for
the lease because the lessee absconded with the leased assets. This status is
entered through the Suspended earnings update [U0115].
- NVOL
SUSPENDED EARNINGS VOLUNTARY REPOSSESSION The income earnings
are suspended for the lease because the lessee desires to return the leased assets
to the lessor in order to terminate the lease contract. This status is entered
through the Suspended earnings update [U0115].
Asset
The
following explains asset status codes. Each code is preceded with an N (new) or
U (used). LeasePak assigns the N or U status code based upon the New/Used parameter
set through the Add Asset option of the New Lease update [U0101]. Changes to the
New/Used parameter may be made through the Asset update [U0210].
- NLSE/ULSE
NEW/USED ON LEASE The asset is currently on lease. LeasePak automatically
assigns this status to the asset when it is booked to a lease through the Book
Lease option of the New Lease update [U0101], the Rebook update [U0116], or the
Asset Add-on update [U0113].
- NRIN/URIN
NEW/USED IN INVENTORY) The asset is currently in
inventory. LeasePak automatically assigns this status to the asset when it is
returned to inventory through the Rebook update [U0116] or the Termination option
of the Payoff update [U0103]. This status is also assigned to the asset if a disbursement
to pay the vendor for the cost of the asset is made (through the Check Disbursal
option of the New Lease update [U0101].
- NRIV/URIV
NEW/USED PRE INVENTORY The asset is newly entered
into inventory. Only assets with this status may be deleted from inventory using
the Delete Asset option of the New Lease update [U0101]. LeasePak automatically
assigns this status to the asset when it is placed in inventory through the Add
Asset option of the New Lease update [U0101].
- NRPR/URPR
NEW/USED IN REPAIR The asset is in repair. This status
is reserved for future system use.
- NRPS/URPS
NEW/USED REPOSSESSED The asset is repossessed. This
status is reserved for future system use.
- NRSL/URSL
NEW/USED FOR SALE The asset is being held for a
pending sale. This status is reserved for future system use.
- NSLD/USLD
NEW/USED ASSET SOLD The asset has been sold. LeasePak
automatically assigns this status to the asset when it is sold through the Payoff
option (lease or asset payoff) or the Sale of Asset in Inventory option of the
Payoff update [U0103].
User
Defined
The
USER DEFINED STATUS code is an informational field. When an asset is added through
the Add Asset update [U0101] this code is defaulted to 'AINV' (Available - inventory)
and can be changed . When the asset is booked to a lease through Book Lease [U0101]
it defaults to 'NOLS' (Not available - on lease). At the time the asset is paid
off [U0103] the code will default to 'NSLD' (Not available - sold). This code
may be changed through Asset Maintenance [U0210]. Any assets with status codes
beginning with an 'N' cannot be booked to a lease.
Additional
codes may be established through the Custom Codes update [U0722]. These codes
must begin with an 'A' or 'N'.
