Approval Officer
[U0707]
The Approval
Officer update [U0707] is used in conjunction with the New Lease update [U0101].
It adds, changes or deletes approval officers from the Names (RNM) file.
In
the Application update [U0801] screen 6 and in the New Lease update [U0101], an
approval officer may be entered as the person with authority to approve credit,
documentation and/or funding of a lease. Authorized approval officers are set
up on this Approval Officer update.

This
screen is used to select the Approval Officer update [U0707] option.
Add
or Change Approval Officer

This
screen is used to add or change an approval officer.
- APPROVAL
OFFICER
Enter a code
for the officer. This could be a number, initials, or any other set of alphanumeric
characters. A warning message appears if the code entered is not valid initials
of a LeasePak user, but it is only a warning. If adding an approval officer, the
code must not yet exist on the Names file. If changing an officer, appears in
the field but is not accessible.
- FULL
NAME
Enter the FULL
NAME of the Approval Officer to be added or changed. If changing a name, the name
already on file is displayed.
Delete
Approval Officer
When
the Delete button is selected, the following screen is displayed.

Select
'YES' if the desired officer whose name appears is to be deleted from the Names
(RNM) file. Select 'NO' if the
approval officer is to remain in the RNM file.
