Alternate Asset Movement History Report [R1004]
The alternate asset movement history report [R1004] displays the location movement history of assets or all assets under all leases of a selected portfolio. The history encompasses asset status code changes (e.g., on- or off-lease), physical location changes and lease or asset key changes.
- The report may be selected and accessed through the Asset report menu [R10]. But users must set security settings to access R1004 from U0706 update.
- The report can also be executed during End of Period update U0401 Submit. Users must select the report in U0212 Portfolio→End of Period Customization before executing end of month process.
The report is organized by following elements:
- Portfolio, Company, Region, and Office
- Start and End Date
Alternate Asset Movement History Selection

- ALL
Enter X to report on all assets. Leave blank to report on a specific portfolio, company, region, and/or office.
- PORT
Enter the number of the portfolio upon which to report. Leave blank if reporting across portfolios.
- COMP
Enter the number of the company upon which to report. Leave blank if reporting across companies.
- REGN
Enter the number of the region upon which to report. Leave blank if reporting across regions.
- OFFIC
Enter the number of the office upon which to report. Leave blank if reporting across offices.
- ALL DATES
Enter X to report on all assets, regardless of the status change date. Leave blank to report on assets whose status
changed during specific dates.
- START DATE
Enter the beginning date in MM/DD/YY or DD/MM/YY format, depending on the
Date Format Preference field in Security [U0706].
All assets whose status changed on or after this date are selected. If both a START DATE and an END DATE are entered, all assets whose
status changed on or between these dates are selected. Leave START DATE blank to report on all assets whose status changed on or before an
END DATE.
- END DATE
Enter the ending date in MM/DD/YY or DD/MM/YY format, depending on the
Date Format Preference field in Security [U0706].
All assets whose status changed on or before this date are selected. If both a START DATE and an END DATE are entered, all assets whose
status changed on or between these dates are selected. Leave END DATE blank to report on all assets whose status changed on or after
a START DATE.
Alternate Asset Movement History Report

The Alternate Asset Movement History report [R1004] provides the following information:
- LEASE
The current lease number is displayed for assets on lease. For pre-inventory assets (assets which have never been on lease),
no lease number is displayed. It will display the assets on lease for which asset location has been changed.
- ASSET
The asset number is displayed.
- ORIG EQUIPMENT STATUS
The original status code of an equipment is displayed.
- ORIG ACTIVITY STATUS DATE
The original status date of an equipment is displayed.
- ORIG RUN TIME
The original run time is displayed.
- ORIG ADDRESS/ADDRESS2
Address/Address2 of the asset is displayed.
- ORIG STATE/COUNTY/CITY/ZIP
The state/county/city/zip code and name will be displayed.
- ORIG VERTEX TAX AREA ID
The vertex tax area ID of an asset is displayed.
- NEW EQUIPMENT STATUS
The equipment’s new status is displayed.
- NEW ACTIVITY STATUS DATE
The equipment’s new activity status is displayed.
- NEW RUN TIME
New run time is displayed.
- NEW ADDRESS/ADDRESS2
New Address/Address2 is displayed.
- NEW STATE/COUNTY/CITY/ZIP
New state/county/city/zip code and name will be displayed.
- NEW TAX AREA ID
New vertex tax area ID of an asset is displayed.
