Investor Income Participation [R0701]
End of Period: Refer to the End of Period section in this document for information on the corresponding EOP process.
The Investor Income Participation report [R0701] provides a journal of all leases for an investor. It may be used by the investor for tracking their leases and their investor income participation earnings from those leases. Investors are always paid monthly. This differs from vendor participation, which may be paid monthly or quarterly. There are no balancing procedures associated with this report. The report may be accessed through the Investor report menu [R07]. The report may be selected interactively for:
- All leases
- An investor

The report may be automatically generated for each portfolio at the end of the month through the End of Period update [U0401]. Use the END OF PERIOD MODULES AND REPORTS screen under the End of Period Customizations option of the Portfolio update [U0212] to specify whether the report is created. If the report is generated through End of Period, additional functions are performed. The report is organized by Investor.
Investor Income Participation Selection
- ALL
Enter X to report on all leases. Leave blank to report on a specific investor or lease.
- INVST
Enter the number of the investor upon which to report. Leave blank if reporting across investors.
- LEASE
Enter the number of the specific lease upon which to report.
Investor Income Participation Report
The Investor Income Participation
report [R0701] reports at the lease level and provides the following information
for each investor:
- LEASE
The lease number is displayed.
- LESSEE NAME
The short form of the lessee name is displayed.
- DESCRIPTION
The description of the leased asset, as entered through the Book Lease option of the New Lease update [U0101], is displayed.
- ORIGINAL
COST
The original acquisition cost of the asset is displayed.
- MATURITY
DATE
The lease maturity date is displayed.
- TRM
The term of the lease in months is displayed.
- ORIGINAL
UNEARNED
The original unearned investor participation income is displayed.
- EARNED
P-T-D
The amount of investor participation earned period-to-date is displayed. General Ledger entries for investor participation payable are automatically updated at the end of the month during the End of Period update [U0401]. A cashier's check entry for the amount due to the investor is also created.Note: If the Multiple Banks module is purchased, the disbursals will be made from cash account 126 (Default Disbursals).
- UNEARNED
PARTICIPATION
The remaining amount of income to be earned by the investor over the life of the lease is displayed.

TOTALS
Page totals for participation (earned period-to-date and unearned) are shown by investor. Region, company, portfolio, and grand totals are shown for participation (earned period-to-date and unearned).

*EOP Updating Report: The EOP version of this report differs from its interactive counterpart in that makes changes to database records.
This module produces the same report as the interactive Investor Income Participation report [R0701], but when executed through End of Period, this module performs additional functions:
- rgl General Ledger table updating is performed to reduce the Investor Participation Payable and Cash General Ledger accounts for the amount of investor participation shown on the report as due and payable. If the Multiple Banks module is purchased, the disbursals will be made from cash account 126 (Default Disbursals).
- rpp Participation Payable table updating is performed to remove the investor participation records shown on the report as due and payable (i.e, LeasePak assumes that the amounts shown on the report are paid to the respective investors).
- Cashier's Checks are written to investors for the amount of participation shown on the report as due and payable.
