220 Historical RTX Clean-up
- The utility cleans up the Historical Payment records from the rtx table up to a given date. The other parameters it requires are the portfolio number and whether or not to select only termainated/paid off leases for clean up.
Running this utility will delete records from the rtx table and therefore prevent future reversal transactions such as payoff reversals that depend on those records. This clean up will only be done on records that are no longer needed
Below is an example of using this utility:
This Utility option will clean up Historical Payment table [RTX].
Do you wish to continue [Y/N]?
User will need to enter 'Y' or 'y' to continue. The program will display:
Client Password?
Users will need to enter their LeasePak client string password. The program will display:
Enter portfolio, or press Enter to exit:
Uers will need to enter a valid portfolio number. It will be used limit the clean up activity to the rtx records having lease numbers (lse_s) populated with the given portfolio only. The program will display:
Enter clean-up to date in YYMMDD format, or press Enter to exit:
Users will need to enter a valid cutoff date in the past or future or blank. Any other response will display the following message and redisplay the current prompt:
Invalid YYMMDD date.
In case, the user enters a valid date, the program will display the following:
Clean-up only terminated/paid off leases (Y/N), or press Enter to exit?
Enter 'N' or 'n' to bypass the terminated/paid off condition along with all other prompts coming next and to start cleaning up the rtx records based on the first two conditions that is the rtx records with leases belonging to the given portfolio and with an effective date less than or equal to the date entered in the previous prompt.
Enter 'Y' or 'y' to further limit the clean up activity to rtx records with leases that are already terminated or paid off . The program will display the following:
Enter the cutoff date in YYMMDD format or press Enter to exit. All leases tagged for RTX clean-up must be paid off or terminated prior to or equal to this date:
Users will need to enter any valid date in the past or future or a blank.
If the user enters a valid date to the last prompt, the program will clean up rtx records with leases belonging to the given portfolio and are paid off or terminated with an effective date less than or equal to the date entered in the final prompt.
After completing the clean up process, the program will exit the utility and return the user to the server command line.
