- Machine: Intel x86 computer (unless you are installing the mPower server on your LeasePak server machine).
- Memory:
- 512 MB RAM minimum
- 1024 MB or more recommended
- Network Card: Ethernet, token ring, etc. NetSol recommends having 2 cards; one for Internet communication and one for your internal network.
- CD-ROM: Unless you have the operating system pre-installed or are installing the mPower server on your LeasePak server machine, you will need a CD-ROM drive on the mPower server computer to install the OS.

Server Operating System
Software
- Red Hat Release 4 (Kernel 2.6.x)
- Any other version of Linux or Unix that is compatible with one of the supported web server software installations (see below). Use this option if you are installing the mPower server on your LeasePak server machine.
Patches
- Install all critical patches and updates recommended for your operating system.
Additional Server Software
- Java, J2SE version 1.4.2_x SDK, with Red Hat Package Management (RPM) or equivalent
- Tomcat 4, version 4.1.x
- mPower program files (from NetSol)
Install either Java/Tomcat or J2EE—not both. Contact your NetSol representative for more information.
