The purpose of this report is to report the differences of income transactions in the general ledger accounts at lease and asset level. This report is only asset focus leases and will not work for normal leases or IBLs.
For asset focus leases, the total amount payable is split across the assets that are attached to that lease. At database level, LeasePak maintains the entries for income transactions of the lease separately in the RTX table while for its assets the income transactions entries are split and then entered against the attached assets.
When generating the report, LeasePak compares the income transactions for general ledger accounts at both lease and asset level (the transaction amounts for the assets attached to the asset focus lease are summed up for the comparison). The difference calculated is shown in the report.
A difference of zero indicates that the general ledger account is balanced. A value other than zero indicates an imbalance and a problem in the transaction entries.
Shows the identifier of an asset focus lease.
Shows the general ledger account number.
Shows the general ledger account name.
Following are the general ledger accounts that LeasePak tracks for asset focus leases:
Shows the lease level income amount.
Shows the asset level income amount. This amount is the sum of incomes of all assets attached to this lease.
Shows the difference between the lease and asset level income calculation for this general ledger account. A difference of zero indicates that the account is balanced and the transaction entries at both lease and asset level are correct. A value other than zero is an indication of an imbalance and requires verification.
