Salvage Write Down [U0128]

 

This update allows the user to write down the assets Salvage Value by PART NUMBER for assets on operating leases. LeasePak will adjust the Salvage Value for each asset on an operating lease with a matching Part Number. As well as track the number of sub-assets tied to the asset. If the any of the sub- assets are moved through the Split/Merge Quantity [U0112] update, LeasePak will update the asset accordingly.

Additionally, LeasePak will update the G/L by debiting the depreciation expense and crediting the accumulated depreciation.

 

The screen allows the user to Write Down the Salvage Value of the asset en mass by the Part Number.

• PART NUMBER
  Enter the Part Number of the Asset (s) which Salvage Value will be changed. LeasePak will automatically adjust all assets and sub-assets that contain a matching part number.

  Note: Split/Merge Quantity [U0112] will compare the Part Number field and merge to Existing Asset. If the assets do not have coinciding Part Numbers, the merge will be denied.

  Note: Split/Merge Quantity [U0112] will save the number of sub-assets to their original parent asset table.

• NEW SALVAGE VALUE
  Enter the new Salvage Value for the asset (s).
