Location Listing
[R0915]
The Location
Listing report [R0915] is a table of states, counties and cities and their corresponding
use tax rates. This report shows the taxing entities that are on file and should
be used to verify the accuracy of tax rates.
The
report is organized alphabetically by State Code. The report may be accessed through
the Operational report menu [R09] and
may be interactively selected for:
- All
states, counties and cities
- A
state
- A county
Location
Listing Selection
- ALL
Enter X to report on all
states, counties and cities. Leave blank to report on a specific state or county.
- STATE
Enter the state code (the
2 letter state abbreviation) upon which to report.Use Help to see a list of valid
state codes. Leave blank if reporting across states.
Location
Listing Report

The Location Listing report [R0915]
is at the taxing entity level and provides the following information:
- STATE CODE
The
2 letter state abbreviation (e.g., CA, NY, etc.) is displayed.
- CNTY CODE
The
4 letter county abbreviation (e.g., SANM = San Mateo) is displayed. This county
code is determined when entering the county tax information through the Location
update [U0701].
- CITY
CODE
The 4 letter city
abbreviation (e.g., BURL = Burlingame) is displayed. This city code is determined
when entering the city tax information through the Location update [U0701].
- ENTITY
The
entity description (State, County or City) is displayed.
- NAME
The complete state, county
or city name corresponding to the ENTITY is displayed.
- CURRENT
RATE
The rate currently
being used by the system to calculate use tax is displayed.
- EFFECTIVE DATE
The
date of the next use tax rate change, if applicable, as input by the operator
is displayed.
- EFFECTIVE
RATE
The new use tax
rate as of the EFFECTIVE DATE, if applicable, is displayed.
- STATE MAX TAX
The
maximum use tax that may be assessed per lease payment at the state level is displayed.
If this maximum tax is greater than zero, LeasePak does not assess a state use
tax amount greater than this maximum. If the calculated use tax is greater than
the maximum, the maximum amount is assessed. The maximum tax may be changed through
the Location update [U0701].
- CNTY
MAX TAX
The maximum
use tax that may be assessed per lease payment at the county level is displayed.
If this maximum tax is greater than zero, LeasePak does not assess a county use
tax amount greater than this maximum. If the calculated use tax is greater than
the maximum, the maximum amount is assessed. The maximum tax may be changed through
the Location update [U0701].
- CITY
MAX TAX
The maximum
use tax that may be assessed (per lease payment) at the city level is displayed.
If this maximum tax is greater than zero, LeasePak does not assess a city use
tax amount greater than this maximum. If the calculated use tax is greater than
the maximum, the maximum amount is assessed. The maximum tax may be changed through
the Location update [U0701].
